Anna's Birthday!

Anna is 5 years old today! To celebrate she had two parties. The first party was on the weekend when she had 6 of her closest friends over for the afternoon. They played games, decorated cup-cakes and make edible jewelry. What fun!

Today Anna had her second party with just her family. Check out the yummy cake that mommy made!

Of course, what birthday would be complete with out presents!

Soccer!

Today was Anna's first soccer practice/game! She is enrolled in the Kanata U5 Soccer program which is a coach led program that introduces 4 and 5 year olds to this great game.

Although it pored rain the entire hour, Anna was a real trooper and played really hard. She was thrilled that not only did mom, dad and Matthew watched but her Auntie Leah and Uncle Ron were also on hand to cheer her on.

Five Little Ducks

The audio and video are not the greatest.. but check out this video taken from an assembly last week at Anna's school. Anna is near the middle wearing a blue shirt and red skirt (and a yellow duck hat of course ;-)
